The G.I.S.

This voice recorded in Virginia City Nevadas "Gold Hill Hotel" is quite interesting. The voice was picked up as our EMF meter was signaling fluctuations in the electro magnetic field. You will hear a woman say "Are you alone" followed by Brendan saying "it's acting weird" referring to the EMF detector.

In this clip you will hear a small child say"Bryan" Followed by Brendan saying "It's not the flash going off because it didn't do anything" At the time Barbara and Brendan had been trying to find an explanation for the strange spikes in the EMF meter. Brendan had just pointed the meter toward a camera to see if its flash had any effect on the readings. This voice was also recorded in the Gold Hill Hotel.

This sounds like a young girl saying "Do you have to leave us"
The G.I.S. had been investigating an old Bed & Breakfast called "The Inn on Capitol Hill" We had just started walking downstairs to leave the second floor when this was recorded.

While The G.I.S. was investigating an old Victorian style mansion, this EVP was recorded. You will hear Brendan say "See I wonder what that was, it just didn't look right" referring to an orb Barry had just videotaped. Followed by a girl saying "Have you seen my mom"

While Investigating the Gold Hill Hotel Barbara as usual began asking if anyone was present, you will hear her say, "If there is someone here, will you make your presence known to us?" followed by a young boy saying "Help me"

The G.I.S. was in the process of investigating a mausoleum when this voice was recorded. You will hear Brendan say "Uh-Oh I think I just dropped all my stuff" then a childs voice"I hurt my finger"

Quite often when we are interviewed regarding EVP, we are asked the same question. "Do you ever record voices on two different recorders?" the answer is yes.

This is an important question being that if a voice is recorded on only one device it could possibly be explained as a malfunction or an artifact of that particular recorder, however if it is recorded on two or more the odds of both recorders having the same noise at the same time in the same location are quite astronomical.

These next two clips are quite interesting not only because they answer the above question but they also add another element to the answer. The following clips are from the Gold Hill Hotel they are not only from two separate recorders but from two different recording formats (Digital & Analog)

You will hear Barry saying "it wasn't a big one though" followed by a gruff old mans voice saying what sounds like, "I'm gonna kill ya right here" (Digital)

This is the exact same voice only it was recorded with an analog recorder in another part of the room. "I'm gonna kill ya right here" (Analog)

The G.I.S. was investigating an old Victorian style mansion that was at one time used as a doctor's office. You will hear Brendan say "Where did I put that" and a young boy replies "I'm sick"

In this clip also recorded at the Gold Hill Hotel you will hear Barry saying "I think you seen that movie at the LDS temple." Followed by Roger saying "they do have some good shows though." Then a man's voice saying, "Kill them both"

While in the living room area of the Gold Hill Hotel, Barbara says, "If you can speak will you speak so I can hear you?" followed by a child saying "Mother"

Four members of The G.I.S. had been investigating a cemetery when Roger recorded this voice. You will hear him say, "Was the-uh breakfast inn the last time we were out at night?" followed by a young boy saying "No at Randy's"

While in the same cemetery Roger recorded this voice saying, "No they're not" responding to him saying "We're on the road again."

While walking into the basement of a mausoleum, Brendans flashlight had gone dead. The lights had all been shut out and the only other member inside of the mausoleum was on the opposite end of the building. As Brendan tried to find the light switch he slipped and fell down the stairs his recorder flew out of his hand. You will hear a loud crashing noise followed by Brendan saying, "dammit" then what sounds like a child saying, "Are you OK"

While in the same mausoleum Brendan had just got some dust in his eyes when this EVP was recorded. You will hear him say, "My eyes are killing me." Then a woman responding "Take it off my eyes"

While investigating the Brewery Lodge the location where most of our investigation focused on, this EVP was recorded. Jenny says "Why did they call it the brewery lodge, did they brew beer in here?" followed by a man saying, "What about it"

This EVP was also recorded in the Gold Hill, you will hear Jenny ask, "Do you guys wanna go somewhere?" then a man saying, "Why won't you guys leave"

In this clip you will hear Barbara ask Brendan if he wants another cup of coffee, Brendan responds no and then a woman says,"Yall are funny"
